Dutch Research Council Awards 1.1 Million Euros to Neutrino-Hunting PTOLEMY Project
Simons Foundation, January 2021On November 19, 2020, the Dutch Research Council awarded 1.1 million euros to the PTOLEMY project, which hunts for the barrage of neutrinos emitted a second after the universe began. Those elusive Big Bang particles should be everywhere but haven’t yet been detected. The project is supported in part by a grant from the Simons Foundation.
